If youโ€™ve got money invested in stocks (in your pension, ISA, or SIPP) youโ€™ve had a rough week. The S&P 500 index of big U.S. companies fell 10% from its peak in February and entered โ€œcorrectionโ€ territory, which is the technical term describing what happens when investors think stocks are wildly overpriced.

Losing 10% of your invested savings will never feel good. But, as we reminded you last week, weโ€™re in this for the long run. Years and years. Stocks go up and down. Only idiots sell when there is drama in the markets. If anything, you should be buying as prices decline.

This drama, of course, is being generated by one man: Donald Trump. His obsession with tariffs has spooโ€ฆ
