One of the most curious fish in the ocean is the remora, which attaches itself to a larger fish โย usually a shark โย and survives by eating scraps of food missed by its host, dead skin cells, and poop.ย
Scientists who have studied remora have found that theyโre not actually very good at swimming on their own, because they spend so much of their lives clinging to larger beasts and coasting alongside them. (Think about that for a second โ thereโs a fish that isnโt very good at swimming!)
